    Your child has applied to become an Open Doors Youth Rep. Open Doors is an international charity that works to support Christians facing persecution around the world. The Youth Reps programme is a voluntary, flexible and simple programme, open to young people aged 13-18, that aims to help teenagers connect with, and act on behalf of, their persecuted church family.

    What's involved?

    The programme is very low-key, and it's up to the Rep themselves to decide how much or how little they would like to engage. As a minimum, each term we'd connect with your child in the following ways:

    A weekly WhatsApp message with ideas, prayers, stories and more
    An email update each term with things to support the persecuted church
    A termly online Teams/Zoom presentation with stories from the persecuted church

    Reps can leave the programme and any email lists or the WhatsApp Community at any time – there's no pressure at all.

    I consent to my child recording videos or sharing images of themselves that may be used on the Open Doors Youth website, WhatsApp Community, social media accounts or other Open Doors Youth promotional materials. We will always seek further consent and clarity from your child if they do send any videos of themselves.
