We serve Christians around the world whose brave faith in Jesus means they are, beaten, threatened, imprisoned, tortured, falsely accused, disowned and hated.

WRITE TO: 11 YEAR OLD ROBIN IN BANGLADESH

pattern

What does Christmas mean to you? For Robin*, an 11-year-old in Bangladesh, Christmas is a time of joy and celebration with his family and friends – but also a time mingled with fear.

Bullied at school and isolated from classmates, Robin counts the cost daily for Jesus. He is known as ‘the Christian’, made to feel invisible amidst the crowds of students. “I feel sad when they treat me like this,” Robin admits. “But I will never do the same to them. As a believer, we should not hurt others, even if they hurt us.”

It’s not easy to be a Christian in Bangladesh. Recent political strife and the threat of radical Muslims have added to the vulnerability of believers like Robin. There are family pressures to return to Islam too. Despite all this, Robin and his mother persevere, their resilient faith shining.

Christmas can be a time of renewed hope, and you can help Robin know the joy of this season by writing to him! Why not use your words to unwrap the gift of hope for Robin this Christmas?
