ARISE AFRICA: PRAY FOR THE PETITION HAND IN…
Open Doors Youth, PO Box 6, Witney, Oxon, UK, OX29 6WG
We serve Christians around the world whose brave faith in Jesus means they are beaten, threatened, imprisoned, tortured, falsely accused, disowned and hated.
Join us as we pray for the hand-in of the ARISE AFRICA petition TO DOWNING STREET AND CALL ON OUR LEADERS TO DO ALL THEY CAN TO PROTECT MILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS ACROSS Sub-Saharan Africa facing violence and conflict.
After three years of the Arise Africa campaign, we’re now at a crucial moment when Open Doors bases around the world will be handing in their nation’s petition to their governments. For Open Doors UK & Ireland, that day will be Thursday 12 November.
We want to thank every one of you who has signed and shared the petition. The response in the UK and around the world has been truly amazing. But at this crucial moment, your prayers are needed now more than ever to ensure our elected leaders understand the severity of the crisis facing our church family across sub-Saharan Africa.
Below, you can hear from Fiona, the Head of Advocacy and Public Affairs for Open Doors UK + Ireland. Join her in praying for the petition hand in on 12 November!
“Those who are praying, don’t think your prayers are not being felt – they are. Through them, I have understood the love of believers. Prayers reach anywhere.”
Please join us in prayer as we look forward to this significant moment in the Arise Africa campaign. Thank you.
